The Drone Racing World Cup Hungary 2023 will be organized jointly by Széchenyi István University and Edutus University in Tatabánya, with the professional support of Cloud for Intelligent Airplace Zrt. and the Hungarian Drone and Multirotor Association.

The international drone competition will take place between 25-27 August in the clearing near the Győr campus, in the vicinity of the Aranypart II., where the world’s leading pilots will test their skills. The event is free of charge for everyone.
An exciting competition is on the horizon at the Gold Coast II, near the campus of Széchenyi István University in Győr.
The role of Széchenyi University in the drone industry
Széchenyi István University, as a founding member of the Hungarian Drone Coalition, is a key player in Hungarian drone research, drone development and the training of professionals. Its students can actively participate in drone technology developments with the support of the Digital Development Centre, and can even directly participate in drone technology-related projects as members of competition teams.
An international event on the Győr campus
The Drone Racing World Cup Hungary 2023 is a championship recognised by the International Aeronautical Federation (FAI) and is the second international FPV drone race in Hungary as an official European race. The field of nearly 60 pilots will include representatives of the world’s top pilots. The competition is the result of the joint work of Széchenyi István University and Edutus University, and will strengthen Hungary’s place on the international drone sport map.
