The Data Driven Agricultural Technology course is a five-day course designed to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of different areas of the agricultural sector, with a focus on crop production, crop protection, soil and technical fundamentals. The focus is on precision farming methods, combining the latest digital technologies, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Students will learn how to use GIS software and drones to survey agricultural land, as well as how to produce nutrient allocation and weed maps, using these tools to make recommendations for environmentally friendly and economical farming practices, in line with the objectives of the Green Deal.
